FAQ

How does honey eliminate body odour?

This honey contains the perfect amount of naturally occurring hydrogen peroxide which targets bacteria that grow in the armpit area. It is not sweat that smells, its in fact the bacteria on the skin that the sweat mixes with that causes the body odour. Applying this honey every few days is enough to keep the bacterial load nice and low to reduce body odour.

How do I apply this honey?

We recommend applying a 2 part honey & 1 part sorbolene cream mixture to the armpits every few days. This should be left on the skin for at least 15 minutes before washing off. The honey can be applied neat (i.e. without sorbolene cream) but this may cause the underarm hairs to pull.

I have sensitive armpits that are prone to getting itchy from some deodorants. Will this honey help sooth itchy armpit skin?

Absolutely. We recommend applying a 2 part honey & 1 part sorbolene cream mixture to the armpits over two consecutive days (without deodorant), and leave on for as long as possible before washing off.

Can I apply the honey/sorbolene cream mix to my skin before I apply my deodorant?

Yes you can. It may feel a bit tacky/wet for a while, but will eventually soak into the skin.
