This jar provides approximately 22 vaginal treatments

If buying this honey for internal vaginal use, we recommend purchasing our silicone honey plug set to give your body every chance of success during treatment.

Every purchase comes with one complimentary vaginal applicator but if washing and reusing is not practical for you, we recommend purchasing additional vaginal applicators. Or checkout our bundles which include extra applicators.

HOW DO I APPLY THIS HONEY?

For vaginal treatment, simply fill an applicator with honey and insert into the vagina once per night. To treat UTI’s, gently rub a level teaspoon of honey into the urethral opening, over the clitoris and outer labia and leave on for at least 2 hours before washing off (laying down helps the honey travel down into the urethral tube). For treating fungal microbes in the mouth, simply coat the tongue and walls in honey and refrain from consuming fluids for at least 15 minutes. For sore throats, mix 50:50 with lemon juice and gargle for at least 60 seconds.

    FAQ

Will this honey work for my vaginal infection?

There is no guarantee this treatment will work for you. In fact, 1 in 170 ladies involved in a test group experienced no improvement, or in rare cases, a worsening of thrush symptoms when trialling this treatment. The others have said its been the most amazing treatment they have turned to.

Can I treat vaginal infections by eating the honey instead of inserting it into the vagina?

No, not that we are aware of. These honeys need direct contact with bacteria and fungi to kill. Whilst good for the gut, no research has been done to prove eating this honey will treat vaginal infection.

Why do I need to insert a silicone plug during honey treatment?

Body temperature and gravity are not your friends during honey treatment. By inserting a silicone plug into the vagina and popping a pillow under your hips during your treatment the honey is able to flow back against the cervix which is where the nasty bugs love to hang out. It also minimises leakage.

How long do I keep the honey in my vagina?

We recommend 1-2 hours but do not exceed 2 hours. If you are short for time, a 30-45 minute treatment time works for some women.

Is treating vaginal infections with honey a sticky process?

If you don't use one of our silicone plugs, or you choose to walk around while you have a honey treatment inside of you, then yes, you are going to find yourself in a sticky situation. Treatment should always be done while laying down, with hips raise, and underwear liner fitted. We recommend having a wet cloth handy because you will get honey on your fingers.

Why me? My vagina just wont behave itself.

You might be interested to know that 80% of our business stems from vaginal honeys. Conditions such as thrush, BV and UTI's are very prevalent. So you're definitely not alone.

    What's better? Jars or sachets?

The sachets are convenient but the jar is easier to plunge from. With sachets, ensure the honey has pooled at the bottom of the sachet before opening. Insert the vaginal applicator directly into the pooled honey and slowly plunge until the applicator is full. Plunge slowly to prevent air bubbles.

How quickly should it start working?

You should start feeling better immediately after use. If you feel a worsening of symptoms at anytime, stop using. It could mean your sensitive areas don’t tolerate bee bi-products.
